Be O Lifestyle makes products made from plants. This is their motto:
‘Every day we make choices that affect the world. With our products made from plants, we want to show that everyone can contribute to a better world without sacrifice. That’s why we develop reusable everyday products made from plants.’
The BE O products are made from either sugar cane or used vegetable oils that are entirely waste and residues in origin. This material is renewable and saves CO2.
This is how they transform this raw material (used vegetable oils) into reusable products:

The used cooking oils are collected from various
companies in the food industry, like restaurants
• This waste stream is filtered together with other
vegetable waste to make it dirt free.
• They convert the filtered stream twice, to create
our bio liquid from used vegetable oils.
• They combine the properties of the bio liquid to
make the bio granules.
• These granules are transformed to the BE O cup.
• When all parts are ready, The BE O products will be
assembled by people with a distance to the
labour force.

Sustainable packaging is part of a reusable coffee cup. That is why the BE O Lifestyle packaging is made from Paperwise: a recyclable mix of agricultural waste and FSC-certified paper. This material is climate neutral and made with 100% green electricity. All the shipping boxes are made from Cradle to Cradle certified cardboard.
