Yes, we do. Eco warehouse is a distributor for European countries. We ship all over Europe.

This depends on the order amount and the country we send to. Yes, absolutely. We have selected our packing materials carefully. We only use products from recylced paper or other recycled material. Whenever we can, we re-use the transportboxes we receive. In that case, we will mark the box with 'second-life box'. The tape we use to close the boxes is an eco-tape, made from paper. Even our name stamp on the packing slip is from a Green Line. The stamp is produced via the "cradle to gate" system and are Co2 neutral by investing in climate projects.

When we ship a pallet, we need to use foil. The foil we use is bio-based.

This really depends on the destination country. You will receive a Track & Trace as soon as your order is processed. Please reach out to our team if you have any specific questions about the shipping time to your country.

We don't simply search for sustainable products. We take sustainability serious, so we don't look at sustainability on a product level, but also company level. We chose to work with companies with a similar mission, who work in a sustainable and fair manner. If the partner is right, we will try the products ourselves. Bee's Wrap

Bee's Wrap is made of GOTS-certified organic cotton, sustainable sourced beeswax, organic jojoba oil and tree resin. The combination of ingredients creates a malleable food wrap with natural antibacterial properties that can be used again and again.

The vegan wraps are made with plant-based materials. Bee's Wrap substituted the beeswax for candelilla wax, which is a plant native to the Southwest of the USA and Mexico and has properties similar to beeswax. Other used ingredients are: soy wax, organic coconut oil and tree resin, which give you a similar pliable food wrap with the same outstanding look and feel as the regular Bee's Wrap line.

Bee's Wrap are made in Vermont (USA), at the Bee's Wrap headquarters in Middlebury. Here the Bee's Wrap team works with love & care to realize we have these wonderful Bee's Wrap food wraps available.

Use the warmth of your hands to fold Bee’s Wrap around a piece of food or over a bowl. When the Bee’s Wrap cools (within seconds) it holds its seal. Use your Bee’s Wrap to wrap cheese, vegetables, bread, fruit, fresh herbs and baked goods. Bee’s Wrap is not recommended for use with raw meat or fish.

A Bee's Wrap food wrap will last up to a year with proper care and regular usage. Make sure you treat it with love and care. You'll know your wrap has reached the end of its useful life in the kitchen when it has gotten thin and soft and it has trouble sticken to itself. At this time, you can cut your wrap into strips and add to your compost pile. Or use as it a natural and effective fire starter.

Easy! With love & care, some mild soap and cold/cool water. Just gently wash in cool water with a mild dish soap. Then you can hang it to air dry. Remember to avoid all sources of heat, including warm water, microwaves, ovens, hot cars, and covering bowls of not-quite-cooled leftovers.

Jojoba-oil and tree resin have natural antibacterial properties so even after a rinse with cold water, your food wrap will be clean and hygenic. In time, it will have a nice vintage look with the memories of family picnics and hikes in nature.

It may seem that your Bee's Wrap has been in contact with heat. Beeswax is very sensitive when it comes to warmer temperature. That's why we always recommend to wash your Bee's Wrap with cold/cool water and avoid all sources of heat.

When your Bee's Wrap feels thin and no more sticky, you can cut your wrap into strips and add to your compost pile, or use as a natural and effective fire starter.

Yes. When you first open your package of Bee's Wrap you will smell the beeswax. The scent will fade after the first few uses and washes, until you can no longer detect it. The beeswax scent will change with the season in which it was harvested. Beeswax carries the scent of the flowers from which the bees harvested pollen. Most of us enjoy the scent, but there are a few people how are more sensitive to beeswax and do not prefer it.

There are several sizes of Bee’s wrap. If you are new to the product, we recommend starting with the Assorted Set of three sizes, which includes one each of the small (17,5 x 20 cm), medium (25 x 27,5 cm) and large (33 x 35 cm). Experiment with these in your kitchen to determine which size is most useful for you.

Small (17,5 x 20 cm): wrap half a lemon, the end of a cucumber, half of an onion (Bee’s wrap won’t hold the smell), half of an avocado, a small bowl, carrot sticks or other snack items.

Medium (25 x 27,5 cm): cover a bowl, half of a sandwich, baked good, cheese, or half a cabbage or cantaloupe.

Large (33 x 35 cm): cover a large bowl, pie dish, celery, cheese, sandwich or half a water melon.

Sandwich wrap (33 x 33 cm): perfect for building your sandwich, wrapping and then using as a placement. Also great for cheese, snacks, a few carrot sticks, a muffin, the possibilities are endless.

Bread wrap (43 x 58 cm): great for wrapping bread, large enough for a large loaf, sandwich bread or specialty breads. This wrap is great for covering dough that is rising, an extra large bowl or casserole dish. Also serves as a dough mat for rolling out pie crusts, cookie dough or other baked goods.

XXL roll (35,5 x 132 cm): Trim to the size you need! Extra large format allows you to wrap everything from fresh Rhubarb, half a watermelon and a casserole dish, to snacks, sandwiches, lemons and everything in between.

    Food Huggers

Food Huggers® are very easy to use. Gently press your fruit or vegetable down into the Food Hugger. While you press it down, the Hugger will fold itself around your food and create a snug seal.  Sometimes people try to pull the Food Hugger over their food like a sock, but that is a lot more difficult to do without damaging or bruising your food.

Food Huggers® give a snug seal on your leftover fruits and veggies and replace the missing skin or peel that has been cut away. There is a lot of variety across different fruits and veggies in terms of how long they last. Citrus fruits like lemons and limes can last for weeks while a tomato will not last as long. It can also depend somewhat on how ripe the fruit or veggie was when it was first “hugged”. We are certain that you will get a lot of extra time to enjoy your fruits and vegetables when you store them in a Food Hugger®.

Food Huggers are dishwasher safe. Just pop them in the dishwasher between "huggings" and they will come out clean and ready to go.  If you do not have a dishwasher, you can clean your Food Huggers by hand using the same methods and soaps that you use on other dishes and kitchen tools.

Yes, they are! this makes them as easy to clean as they are easy to use!

It is unusual for a Food Hugger to absorb any odors. However there is a small number of customer who found themselves with a stubborn or lingering scent. Our number one suggestion is to bake the smell out of your Food Huggers®. To do this, just preheat the oven to 175 degrees celcius, place your Food Huggers in the oven for about 20 minutes and the heat will remove any stubborn smell that might be clinging onto your Food Hugger. We got this tip from The New York Times.  You can see the full article here.

Yes. We always recommend storing fruits and vegetables that have been cut in the fridge, so that they will last as long as possible. Even items like tomatoes that you might not want to keep in the refrigerator before you cut them, should be stored in the fridge once it's been cut open.

Food Huggers® helps reducing food waste and reducing single use plastics. How? Food Huggers® help retain 23% more moisture than food stored in plastic bags or plastic containers. Keeping this moisture in and keeping bacteria out help extend the time you have to enjoy all the flavor and nutrition that  your fruits and veggies can offer. An average family of four throws away more than €1500 a year in wasted food. We are working to create the tools that will help cut back on how much food families throw away.
Disposable plastic wrap and plastic baggies are another major contributor to landfills and pollution in the ocean. When you switch to a reusable Food Hugger product, you are replacing hundreds (potentially even thousands) of pieces of single use plastic from littering our environment.

Food Huggers® are made from the highest quality silicone, 100% BPA and Phthalate free. Food Huggers has been tested by independent labs to confirm that they are made with the top quality materials and meet all the required standards for food safety. Food Huggers® never use fillers and never take shortcuts. Food Huggers® give your food the healthiest possible hugs.

Yes you can use your Food Huggers in the oven, but we do not recommend putting them in the oven. There is a risk that the Food Hugger will pop off due to the build-up of heat inside.

Although the silicone material can be recycled, it is only available for recycling at a large scale and industrial level. There are not any curbside recycling programs that we are aware of where a Food Hugger could be recycled along with your usual household recyclables.  Food Huggers® do have a lifetime guarantee. Hopefully you will never need to recycle them. Food Huggers packaging however is 100% recycled cardstock and 100% recyclable.

    Food Huggers Lids

We have 4 sizes Food Huggers Lids available, each for a certain range of bowl sizes:
Size ExtraSmall for bowls 9,5 - 12,5 cm
Size Small for bowls 11,25 - 14,25 cm
    Size Medium for 13,75 - 16,8 cm
    Size Large for 16,25 - 19,4 cm

Absolutely! Food Huggers Lids are 100% dishwasher safe, making them as easy to clean as they are easy to use. Just pop them in the dishwasher between 'huggings' and they will come out clean and ready to go. If you do not have a dishwasher, you can clean them by using the same methods and soaps that you use on other dishes and kitchen tools.

We would really rather you didn't. We have a lot of concern that if a bowl is microwaved with the lid on, your fingers could get scaled with steam when you remove the lid from the bowl. To be clear, the materials are 100% microwave safe. But the nature of how tightly they can seal means that steam can build up onder pressure inside the bowl and that is a risky situation for whoever removes the lid. We do not have any ventilation on this design to release the pressure that often builds up when food is heated in the microwave so you might also see your lid pop off the bowl in the microwave which might be messy.

The materials Food Huggers Lids are made of are both oven-safe, but we do not recommend putting them in the oven. We do not want the lid to pop off due to the build-up of heat inside the bowl nor would we want you to burn yourself as you remove the lid from the bowl.

When the fit between your bowl and the lid is snug, the seal is both airtight and watertight. You just need to make sure you use the right sized lid for your bowl. Each lid will fit over and seal a range of different bowl sizes and shapes. The adaptability of this fit was invented to protect your food and keep it as fresh as possible without making you buy or use a second set of storage dishes.

The Lids adjust themselves around your bowles to create a snug seal. The seal varys a little bit from bowl to bowl and home to home so the best answer to this question is: sometimes yes, but proceed with caution. We do not recommend using a lid on top of a bowl to bring your food to work in your tote bag or briefcase. The seal might be snug, spill proof or even leak proof when you put it on, but a lot can happen in transit. We know how upsetting a spilled lunch would be in your bag and we never want to be the cause of something like that. Proceed with caution.

    Stasher

Stasher offers all of the ease and convenience of plastic bags, but without any of the negative consequences.
A Stasher can safely go from the freezer, to the microwave, and to the dishwasher.  You can use it in the oven, microwave, a sous-vide machine or a pot of hot boiling water up to 200C.

A Stasher bag can be reused endlessly, like more than 3000 times!

Yes! you can clean your Stasher by putting upsidedown on the upper rack in your dishwasher. Make sure you do not turn the Stasher inside out, that might damage the bag.

We suggest filling the bag a quarter of the way with warm water and soap and giving it a nice shake. A little brush helps too.

Yes, completely! There are no fillers or other toxic products in Stasher bags — no BPA, BPS, lead, latex, or phthalates.

The sandwich bag holds 443 ml and perfectly fits a sandwich, half a grapefruit, or two small chicken breasts for example.

The snack bag holds 293ml and fits a halved avocado.

The half-gallon storage bag holds 1899ml and will fit two strip steaks or an entire bundle of asparagus.

    Vejibag

While conventional plastic bags and boxes suffocate vegetables by trapping stale air and ethylene gas, the Vejibag damp cotton bag keeps moisture-loving vegetables alive and crisp in a high humidity, breathable environment.

Wet the Vejibag thoroughly, wring it, wash the vegetables, and put the washed vegetables in the Vejibag. Close the bag and put it - still damp - in the fridge.

CAUTION!! also pre-washed vegetables need to be washed again. This is because the plastic packaging is filled with a gas during the production of these pre-washed vegetables to increase their shelf life.

Vejibags are made of organic cotton which is sustainably produced and processed in Texas (USA). The manufacturing of Vejibags takes place in a socially responsible business with employees as co-owners.

The Vejibag can be washed at low temperatures using a washing machine. CAUTION! It is cotton so it could shrink. The print will fade, because we used a natural ink which gradually fades.

If the Vejibag doesn’t get clean, we have a solution. You may already know this, but baking soda is not only suitable for baking. If your Vejibag doesn’t get clean in the washing machine over time, then the next tip might be something for you:

Take ½ a cup of baking soda and warm water (not too hot!) and soak the Vejibag in this for a few hours in a bucket. Rinse after soaking and wash it during a normal cotton wash cycle (do not wash with delicates, like silk and linnen).

The Vejibag is most suitable for “water loving” vegetables. So… vegetables that contain a considerable amount of water. There are no fruits or vegetables which you cannot wrap in a Vejibag. Shelf life is not only determined by how long the fruit / vegetables have been stored outside the refrigerator, but also by the origin of these fruits and vegetables.

This really varies depending on the type of fruit or vegetable. For most vegetables this is 2 weeks.

In case of normal usage the Vejibag will last a very long time. Of course the Vejibag’s beauty will diminish through usage. However, this doesn’t impact the functionality. Washing it by using a washing machine can eventually affect the durability of the product.

CAUTION! the print will fade quite quickly. But this is entirely due to the (naturally based) ink used for printing.

    The Avocado Sock

The Avocado Sock speeds the ripening of delicate avocados. The natural lanolin and warmth of the wool ripens the avocado evenly and gently.

The Avocado Sock is made out of 100% Shetland wool from a 200 year old woolen mill in Scotland, knit and finished in a socially responsible business in Canada using all environmentally friendly products.

It's difficult to give an exact time range, but usually it's between 24 and 48 hours. Of course the size of the avocado, the ripeness of the avocado and the temperature of the room all matter.

There will probably be no need to wash your Avocado Sock. If necessary, we advise you to handwash The Avocado Sock. Please ensure the water around or below 30C, this will avoid shrinkage.

    Soap Lift

Soap Lift allows water to drain and air to circulate underneath your bar of soap, making it dry much faster. This decreases the loss of soap and makes your soap last longer.

Soap Lift is made out of eco-friendly BioPlastic based on cornstarch.

SoapLift can be adjusted to your preferred size by a pair of scissors.

Your Soap Lift can be cleaned under luke warm running water.

Your Soap Lift should last a very long time. We haven't had the experience that it broke. The only time people bought another one, because they wanted two Soap Lifts for their soap and add some color to their interior.

    Bag-again

Sliced bread remains 1 to 2 days fresh in a bread bag. A loaf of bread (not sliced) a bit longer. It depends on the type of bread. The crust will be a bit more crusty then in a plastic bag.

Yes, on a low temperature. The bread bag may shrink a little bit, but will still be large enough for a loaf of bread. It is not necessary to wash it after each use. Just take the crums out and use it again.

We use unbleached organic cotton that is GOTS-certified. With this certification you can be sure that the materials are produced in an environmental friendly way and that there is fair trade and good labour conditions.

Yes! You can put your fresh loaf of bread in a Bag again bread bag in the freezer up to 2 or 3 weeks.

Yes, it is. The bread bag is made of the purest organic cotton and will look a bit different after washing it. The fabric will be softer, has more wrinkles and shrinks some. That is normal, the size will still be enough to pack up a whole loaf of bread.

Yes of course, you can use it for bulk or fruits & vegetables. But then we also have other bags for these items. Click here to see our assortment.

    Fluf

They are made of Gots certified organic cotton with a lining of recycled PETbottles.

They are produced in a small family owned factory in India. On the brand page you can see a video about the production facility.

For the production of the Fluf bags the organic cotton that is used is GOTS-certified. With this certification you can be sure that the materials are produced in an environmental friendly way and that there is fair trade and good labour conditions.
